O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree, how lovely are your branches…
Today, January 28, I finally took down my christmas tree. It was kinda bittersweet. I made up my mind 26 days ago that I was going to keep up the tree until we moved into another house and just decorate the tree for the perspective holiday season.
That all went to pot when I look at the massive clutter in my house, became overwhelmed decided something had to go. Now, in the middle of taking down my tree Aaron comes in the room and says ” I thought you’d never take down the tree” and Gabrielle still stuck in the season says “no mommy, don’t take down the tree I gotta take a nap so I can get my presents”. Poor kids. It’s okay children it will be back next year…maybe if it does not become a trash causality.
