This is my very first giveaway. I am giving away a $10 Target giftcard!! Target is often so refreshing considering when I don’t have my children with me it is the second quietest place after the library and an empty church. So here is how you enter the giveaway, comment to this post about some of the day to day issues that you are dealing with and would like me to talk about. BTW, make sure that I have some way to contact you either email or your blog. That’s it. That’s all you have to do. I Will pick the winner through random.org and notifiy them and the blogging community Monday, October 6, 2008.

Happy posting

I know, i know it’s been a long time since I posted. I got all excited abotu revamping my blog and the day i was supposed to do that…. alot of wind and the lights went out, for several days (4 days to be exact). We made it through  that and the kids didn’t even realize we didn’t have power, they felt like it was getting darker a whole lot earlier. We spent the rest of the week recovering from that. At the begininng of last week, lost keys and a bought with diarreha. Oh what fun! I thought that I  would use this opportunity to change my blog around. Lot’s of exciting things around the corner…oh what fun!

I am on a quest to get organized and doing so has birthed many things. First a budget, then a meal plan, and now the desire to get EVERYTHING ready the night before. In the next couple of posts I will go through the ups and downs of each and my own personal experiences.

The Budget

Last August, I had the opportunity to sit in a financial seminar with Joe Sangl. Changed my life and the way I budget totally. We use an excel spreadsheet to budget out our entire paycheck to the very last penny. The formula is Income- Outgo= Exactly Zero. Did I mention that this has changed my life? You can find tips to financial freedom , debt pay off graphs, budget spreadsheet downloads here. Joe’s website is chocked full of DEBT FREE soultions. Can you say DEBT FREE!!! Check him out. It’ll bless you. I has definetly blessed me.

P.S. If his crusade comes to your town. You want check it out!

Labor Day

Things I will be doing this labor day:

1. Washing clothes & Ironing them. I have to get the kids clothes ready for the week.

2. Packing lunch. School begins again tommorrow.

3. Something outside. I don’t know what yet.

4. Watching several episodes of one of the many marathons today.

We didn’t really plan anything concrete to do today. I think my husband just wants to play GTA4 and I just wanted to get finished. So off we go….much to do….hmmm…maybe I will start my Christmas shopping today. Christmas 90 + days away.
