I know, i know it’s been a long time since I posted. I got all excited abotu revamping my blog and the day i was supposed to do that…. alot of wind and the lights went out, for several days (4 days to be exact). We made it through that and the kids didn’t even realize we didn’t have power, they felt like it was getting darker a whole lot earlier. We spent the rest of the week recovering from that. At the begininng of last week, lost keys and a bought with diarreha. Oh what fun! I thought that I would use this opportunity to change my blog around. Lot’s of exciting things around the corner…oh what fun!
Right now, I am listening to Hillsong’s Might to Save, barefoot in my office. i just completed my time line that was do Monday and feeling mighty accomplished. Excited about all the promises God has made and how quickly he has followed through with each and everyone of them. I am a little sad that my pink ribbon bagels from panera bread are gone, but its worth it cause they were good. Ballet starts Saturday and I am thinking maybe I should really buckle down on preparing for that. No, not right now…..

I. AM. FREE. That feels so good. I believe it too. He whom the SON set free is free indeed. Yep, I. AM. FREE. Just needed to say it out L.O.U.D. Had to take a minute to worship. Okay, I am back.
This week I recieved a letter from the Dayton Public School board notifiying me that Aaron had been a superintendent’s scholar for two or more quarters this year. Hooray! I am so proud him. They are having a reception for him the Monday after Mother’s day. What an awesome gift (for me and him). Pin. The stupid school board also sends me a postcard everyday trying to convince that sending my child to a different school next year is a big mistake. The post card says stuff like “we have the newest technology.” Sure you do….
I found out that Gabrielle is extremely protective over Joseph. She liked to tell Dr. Patterson off for checking Jo-jo out and get the nurse for giving him shots.
My doctor told me not have anymore children. (I am okay with that).
I have been sleeping on the K-Mart. I went in yesterday, and I have decided that the kids summer collection will come from here. I sold Otis Sr. when I told him that they had a shirt in there for Gabrielle that said “My heart belongs to Daddy”. However, the little boys shirts don’t say anything about me so Mother’s must be taking a t-shirt break.
This weekend I am going to visit the grandparents, since we have not done so in about two months. Yes they called and gave us the business about this but they also gave us the business about my Cousin (no names) not coming to see them as they promised. So, Saturday I am taking an internet and cable break. They don’t have either at their house and are waiting until the last minute to get cable but have sworn off internet as “the devil”. Maybe I can get them to change their mind? Doubt it.

I once again failed to potty train Gabrielle. (I am just going to leave that comment there)
I have watch Jo-Jo fall off of numerous pieces of furniture and scoot off the car seat and cry, yet when Gabrielle or Otis decide that they are going to lay/sit their big behinds on his back he’s laughing. I am crying cause I am so mortified at the sight and terrified at how (if something happened) I would explain it to them with someone seeing me unfit.
Kiddie Spring Break 2008 has been fun yet extremely tiring. It has definitely tried me as a parent.
I thought about deleting my blog….Still thinking about it….cuz, no one is reading it but me. I read four other blogs from mothers just like me and mine aren’t remotely as profound or descriptive. Matter-of-fact, I started a home group called Moms R’ Us and I use this blog to kinda let them know what we are doing. Do you know that 3/4 of my group is not even internet savvy and do not use the internet on a daily basis. They are not members of Myspace, Facebook, Black planet, twitter or any of those programs. The most any of them do is check their email like once a month…..maybe. I do mean maybe.

I must be smoking cause it’s 12:10am, i am awake and watching Making the band 4, procrastinating about going into the kitchen to clean up the dinner mess. I have actually contemplated watching Ultimate recipe showdown after making the band….
hmmm….I could probably win on Ultimate recipe showdown….but all my recipes come from allrecipes, kraft foods, or cooks.com….Plus, they are killing this lady’s recipe for chicken tenders.
Oh…I missed CSI: Miami today, watching Wisegal on Lifetime….I had a lifetime addiction when we first got cable and I have tried to make it a point not to get sucked back in…
wait…when did the guy from double dare start hosting shows on the food network…and why am I just noticing this tonight?
Easter is Sunday…finally figured out what we were going to eat but now have to figure out when I am going to have time to get to the store.
Well guess I better get off and attempt to start the dishes…

I am tired, so this post is going to be fairly short…
I woke up to swollen tonsils on Saturday during the “blizzard”. Spent most of Saturday and Sunday sleeping, chasing kids…Went to crazy doctor Monday, got second opinion on Tuesday (pin) the second opinion told me not only do I have tonsilitis, I also have bronchitis…so you know I am going to find a new doctor. Wednesday, I am going to REST…dropped off kids…just going to let medicine work. Okay, tired close to cough syrup time.

Monday….. My BFF and I tried to catch up on every task we had been too lazy to do last week…we almost made it until we came across Hollywood Video….Oh the well…maybe next week
Tuesday…I went to Aaron’s school to help his teacher with testing… why jesus…..(praise break) I made it out with out catching a case…however, I did have to get on my own child….I leave the school to get a bite to eat at McDonald’s and failed the patience test…over an Iced Tea…Let’s just say ” the customer is always right, especially when she is low on caiffene…Later, i find out Gabrielle’s eye is draining, my friend Shawonda’s child is in the hospital, and PJ’s Son Tre woke up with a rash, and the one to top them all is that Dakari (my Bff’s son) is sick again with some kinda stomach flu…the devil.
Late Night Tuesday….let’s just say every hour on the hour I was awake.
Wednesday….At 6:45 I just become pissed with my lack of sleep and get up to clean….30 minutes later Joe is sleep again. I finally come to the revelation that the reason why he is so irritable is because he has a massive butt rash from the diarrhea he has had for the last 3 days, which by the way is getting better ..THANK YA JESUS! Gabrielle’s eye is still not pink or running the mucus is just collecting in her eye lashes and in the corners of her eye. You have to sit on her to get the eye drops in her eye..It’s crazy….Oh, but the icing on the cake is that Mama Jo (Otis’s mom) called to tell me that when she picked up Aaron today from school his teacher tells her he’s been wild n’ out…( the only way I can describe how I feel is like this) I was PISSED! It got so bad ya’ll I called PJ to intercede for him cause he was about to get it. Fast forward….we get that taken care of I get to church and the notes coming out of my mouth during one song was like ….who is that…in a bad way… it got so bad i was mixing up words on another song….I was just glad to sit down… Thank You Jesus! It’s almost 9p …..I am praying that God let the evening end uneventful.
